Mahua Moitra, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

Mahua Moitra is a member of the Loksabha from the Krishnanagar constituency in West Bengal. She served as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing Karimpur from 2016 to 2019 and has served as the general secretary and national spokesperson of the AITC for the past few years. She was an investment banker before entering politics. Previously she has been a member of the Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology and Consultative Committee, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Currently she is a Member, Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019.
